Woman FishingLargemouth and Smallmouth Bass can be caught in a variety of ways depending on the season, water color, temperatures, etc. Early spring, jerk baits, spoons and jigs are very good. Late spring to summer, topwaters, a variety of soft plastics, and crankbaits work well. During summer to late fall, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs and spoons catch the best.

In early spring to summer, catching Walleye with stickbaits are hard to beat. Summer to fall, stickbaits, crankbaits, jigs tipped with live bait, or worms and live bait jigged or trolled work great.

Panfish can be caught year round on tiny 1/16, 1/8, 1/32 ounce jigs, or any form of live grub or minnow. They are very good casted out or fished vertical.
